Dear Kjell, Louise, and family & friends. This is the perfect cause for a memorial to Louise. We know that Louise was passionate about 'Doctors without Borders. Thank you Louise for being so generous, as always.
Ive been thinking about the beautiful communities Louise built with her always welcoming energy. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of that.
Your enthusiasm for SCD was infectious. We will miss that smile that lit up a room. So glad you visited us back in Rutland and that we saw you last year for a lovely catch up at Bærum Pannekakehuset. Our thought are with Kjell at this very sad time.
Thank you for all the good book ideas, chats on all sorts of subjects and a hilarious ,exhausting day exploring the shops of «Grønland» for exotic ingredients and jack fruit
Dear Louise - where to start?! You have always been part of my life in Norway, even before I moved here - from near and far. I choose to remember all the fun and happy times, though I am so very sorry you are gone - and give my warmest thoughts to Kjell, families and friends who have lost you.
- Who else would go cross-country skiing with me in a Bunad (and me in a suit and tie) on Christmas day?
- You were always there to talk about the fun and challenging things around living in Norway and handling of Vikings
- You were always full of interesting things to discuss around things Scottish and English, Norwegian and British, and not least energy and environment
- We had so much fun talking about our languages - and your wonderful mistranslation of pine nuts will always make me smile
- You always thought of others and put other peopel first - I will miss your kind and caring ways.
God rest, and all my love.
Dear Louise, many memories of our times together since those Dundee days . Im glad we saw one another not so long ago.
Love from Judy, and David, Mark and Alison in Edinburgh x
Louise, my dear school friend, the sister I didn't have. We shared many happy memories and you were my comfort in difficult times, the familiar voice on our long calls, holding hands across the ocean, as you called it. I will miss hearing your voice. I will miss you very much.
Rest in peace, my dear friend.
I will always remember Louise as she entered the vicarage in Alvdal, Norway and immediately noticed the Scottish paper The Scotsman and the Saltire. I will also remember her and her family from one of my visits in Edinburgh! I shall always remember her for her friendliness, warmth and caring- and her Scottishness?
I am thankful to have met her and interesting ttalks with her andher lovelyScottish sense of humour️

Our condolences to you Kjell on the passing of Louise. Both you and Louise were there for us when we first met you in Scotland. Both of you were so social and helped us while we were there. And then you came over to Minnesota to celebrate Jamie and James wedding reception here. That was so special. Both of you have been the special people in their lives and it means a lot that both of you helped them since we lived over here. Louises cheerful laughter and smile will always be in our hearts.
With love and prayers. Bob and Linda Berg
